0+02 - 0+23
You don't need to be
0+23 - 3+03
ten steps ahead of your idel client,
even if we're two steps ahead of them.
3+07 - 4+33
That's still two steps
more than where they're at.
4+33 - 6+13
And you can help them
make those two steps.
6+16 - 9+02
So even if, yeah, it's my first course,
but hey, it can help people.
9+04 - 10+24
And even then, like, when,
like my students in there
10+24 - 12+29
because it's like a small group
at the moment when they like those things,
12+36 - 15+12
you never know
how valuable people find you
15+19 - 17+26
until you hear from them.
18+03 - 20+15
You're listening to the Solopreneur
Hustle, a community that connects
20+15 - 23+10

All right,
let's jump into this week's episode.
42+00 - 42+17
This week
42+17 - 44+07
our solopreneur guest is Tammy a Bongo.
44+17 - 46+11
Tammy is a Pinterest strategist
who specializes
46+11 - 48+08
in teaching coaches and online service
providers.
48+16 - 50+06
How to use Pinterest
to attract the right leads
50+06 - 52+06
into their business
so they can book clients with ease.
52+19 - 54+04
Today, me and Tammi talk all about
54+04 - 56+18
how to take the hustle out of marketing
using Pinterest.
56+18 - 59+18
I know showing up or feeling the pressure
to show up on Instagram or TikTok.
59+18 - 61+17
20 47 can become a little bit exhausting.
61+17 - 63+34
So Pinterest is a great solution
for those of us
63+34 - 67+14
who want to market to our ideal customers
but don't want to be on social media.
67+15 - 68+07
24, seven.
68+07 - 70+19
So listen to this episode
to learn about marketing strategies,
70+19 - 73+02
we can apply to our business with ease
so that we're creating content
73+02 - 75+09
that works for us
even when we're not online.
75+17 - 77+03
I hope you all enjoy this insightful
conversation.
77+25 - 77+38
All right.
77+38 - 80+15
Thank you for joining us here
on this Solopreneur Hustle podcast today.
80+15 - 81+25
To me,
it is just so nice to have you here.
81+35 - 82+37
Thank you so much for having me.
82+37 - 84+04
I'm really, really excited. Yeah.
84+04 - 86+03
So if you could just start out
by telling us a little bit
86+03 - 88+10
about yourself and your background
and just a little bit about what you do.
88+26 - 89+00
Okay.
89+00 - 92+02
And my story is kind of funny,
but funny how actually got into it.
92+02 - 94+18
So I went to uni to study nutrition
95+02 - 95+15
and after I
95+15 - 97+26
graduated, there was actually like no jobs
in nutrition whatsoever.
97+36 - 100+07
And so I kind of started
like a little blog on the side
100+07 - 102+21
just as like a hobby while I was like
freelance writing nutritionist.
102+30 - 104+09
And then everyone, like,
I was researching okay,
104+10 - 105+10
how can I get more traffic to my blog?
105+10 - 106+07
And Pinterest kept coming up.
106+07 - 107+17
I was like, it doesn't make sense.
107+17 - 108+38
Like, Oh,
we're going to use this to help my blog.
109+08 - 111+10
And so I done like a lot of like studying
and like research.
111+10 - 113+37
And then I finally figured out how it can
actually be a useful tool for traffic.
114+06 - 116+15
And so I ended up growing my website
traffic
116+15 - 117+27
and started getting email sign ups.
117+27 - 119+26
And then Fast-Forward to, I think 20, 20,
119+31 - 121+22
I was working a nine
to five a call center, which I hated.
121+31 - 124+00
I literally used
listen to podcasts with 1:00 in
124+19 - 125+35
because I just I didn't like it.
125+35 - 127+28
And then I ended up getting fired
from there, like
127+29 - 129+37
right as the pandemic hit,
they started to let a lot of people go.
130+05 - 131+28
And so I was like, well, I don't know what
131+28 - 133+33
what can I actually do that I would enjoy
and what do I know how to do?
133+34 - 135+02
And I was like,
Well, you has deep interest.
135+02 - 136+01
Why don't you just help people with that?
136+01 - 137+17
And so I started reaching out
to like entrepreneurs.
137+17 - 139+23
And like I said, I listen to a lot
of podcasts I shouldn't have been doing.
140+15 - 141+23
And yeah, that was people who needed help.
141+23 - 143+06
And so it just kind of snowballed
from that.
143+23 - 144+15
Oh, my gosh. You know what?
144+15 - 146+26
I love when we end up in entrepreneurship
because we're pushed there.
146+26 - 148+13
But I think that's
where you're supposed to end up anyways.
148+16 - 149+29
Yeah, it was another entrepreneur
that I interviewed,
149+29 - 152+15
one of the first interviews
I did here on the podcast, and she her
152+15 - 154+31
name's Nashieqa and she was saying
how getting fired from her job
154+31 - 156+14
was the best thing
that ever happened to her because
157+07 - 158+28
she always knew
she wanted to be an entrepreneur,
158+28 - 161+12
but it just really took that push to say,
All right, yeah, with us to do.
161+19 - 163+35
And I can totally relate to you
how you're working the nine to five.
163+35 - 164+20
You needed it.
164+20 - 167+18
I'm supposed to know and know, like,
how you felt working that nine to five.
167+18 - 168+26
What about it? You didn't like it.
168+26 - 171+01
Why? Starting a business
was kind of more appealing to you.
171+10 - 171+25
Yeah,
172+10 - 173+20
this sounds so bad, but
173+20 - 175+10
I literally used to cry in the talk
175+39 - 177+16
like it's a joke with me and my sister.
177+16 - 180+05
Now, there was this one time I literally
just slid down the shallow cry.
180+26 - 182+34
I just it, you know, it was just awful
because it was a call center
182+34 - 184+09
because it wasn't anything
related to study.
184+10 - 186+21
And the boss would make fun of us
because a lot of us were like
186+27 - 188+01
young in our early twenties at the time.
188+18 - 189+23
I think I was like 22.
189+23 - 191+16
And it was like all the people
who were like around 21 22 as well.
191+24 - 193+31
And he's like, haha, you guys, you went to
union look, you ended up working here.
193+31 - 195+32
So he was horrible. Really toxic.
195+32 - 198+11
And it was just a horrible,
horrible work environment.
198+12 - 198+24
I was.
199+20 - 201+01
It was really like fun in inspiring.
201+01 - 202+04
You literally felt like the life
202+04 - 204+28
was being sucked out of you,
like it was just meaningless.
204+28 - 206+09
And the reason why, like
206+09 - 208+03
the day I got fired
because they done it in such a sly
208+07 - 209+27
way the way they like
pulled me out to the side
209+27 - 211+25
and then kind of just got rid of me
and I had a really good friend there.
211+32 - 214+15
We were kind of like our work buddies,
if that makes sense.
214+15 - 216+16
And then one day she was like,
I told her they fired me.
216+16 - 218+29
She's like, just like,
now, who's my going to talk to right now?
219+11 - 220+22
Let's see what she was like.
Aren't you upset?
220+22 - 221+00
Nope.
221+00 - 222+38
Like, I don't know what I'm going to do,
but as long as it's not that, I'm
222+38 - 223+32
sure I will be fine.
223+32 - 225+10
And I ended up being fine.
225+10 - 227+36
And honestly, that's one of the things
I love the most about being able
227+36 - 230+33
to have like my own little online business
is the fact that I work with other women
230+33 - 233+18
who also have, like, goals and a vision
beyond just a nine to five and being able
233+18 - 236+00
to help them get their brand up online
in front of their Idol audience.
236+00 - 237+14
Just it makes it so worth it.
237+14 - 238+01
Oh, my gosh.
238+01 - 241+00
And I, too, like even just
feeling your energy when we're talking.
241+04 - 243+13
It really is
just something about working with we're
243+13 - 245+35
connecting with other women in business
who have a vision, who have big dreams.
245+35 - 247+39
I mean, it's just on a day to day basis,
so much more inspiring
247+39 - 250+34
than being tied to a cubicle
and on the phone.
250+36 - 253+03
I mean, it's
just it really shows our creativity
253+03 - 255+23
and just the life out of us
because I mean, just thinking back to
255+23 - 256+35
I've never worked
a traditional nine to five
256+35 - 258+32
because I jumped into entrepreneurship
right out of college,
258+32 - 260+34
because you were smart
that I'd worked an internship
260+34 - 262+34
for like two years when I was in college.
262+34 - 264+32
And that gave me a glimpse
at that nine to five life.
264+32 - 265+09
And I knew that
265+36 - 266+20
I couldn't do it.
266+20 - 267+00
I couldn't do it.
267+00 - 270+11
So I just remember, like at my desk
listening to podcasts, like you're saying,
270+11 - 272+20
thinking about all the other things
I could be doing besides being at that job
272+30 - 275+03
and just sharing that just reminds me
it was kind of
275+03 - 276+36
like nostalgic,
taking me back right at that.
276+39 - 278+19
We literally yeah,
278+19 - 280+04
we weren't even allowed
a proper lunch break,
280+04 - 282+17
and now I literally have a planner
here, have my desk or my schedule out
282+18 - 284+24
an hour lunch break, and it's like,
Okay, well, this like you appreciate it
284+24 - 287+38
so much more now that you know what
it's like to not have that for sure.
288+14 - 288+24
Right.
288+24 - 289+31
So I'm curious as to what
289+31 - 292+16
some of the challenges are
that you help your client overcome.
292+16 - 294+22
So I know that you specialize in Pinterest
and helping
294+29 - 296+21
entrepreneurs
grow their businesses by way of Pinterest.
296+21 - 297+18
And so can you just share
297+18 - 299+14
some of the things you help your clients
with, some of the challenges
299+14 - 302+15
you help them overcome, and why Pinterest
is perhaps the perfect solution
302+15 - 304+10
to some of these challenges,
that solopreneurs experience?
304+19 - 304+39
Yeah.
304+39 - 307+30
And so when it comes to Pinterest,
I was laughing earlier because people
307+30 - 310+04
think it's like food and like nail art
and like planning your dream wedding,
310+18 - 312+11
but it works as like a search engine.
312+11 - 314+27
And so it's kind of like Google
where you use keywords.
314+34 - 315+27
And so a lot of like my clients
315+27 - 317+29
that come to me, they want to get me
website traffic and they want to get more
317+29 - 319+26
email signups
and book clients down the line
319+26 - 321+29
because I typically work like coaching
and online service providers.
321+38 - 323+39
But the problem they're having
is the stuff that posting like
324+00 - 327+02
on Instagram and stuff doesn't necessarily
result in people coming to their website
327+02 - 328+31
and signing up for like their freebie
and entering their sales funnel.
328+37 - 331+16
And so what I do is I take the content
that they create on their websites
331+16 - 333+37
or blogs, podcast episodes,
and then I create graphics for them
333+37 - 335+26
and I teach them
how to create graphics as well.
335+34 - 337+19
And then we repurpose
that one to Pinterest.
337+23 - 339+22
And then because Pinterest works
as a search engine, that Idol audience,
339+22 - 341+09
for example, like comes of my clients
was a web designer.
341+24 - 344+05
And so when we create the pins
and those graphics
344+05 - 346+20
and put them on Pinterest, people
who are searching for like web design or
346+37 - 349+21
website templates or WordPress tips,
they then see her pins
349+21 - 351+29
and then they can click on those pins
and they get taken to a website
351+29 - 353+33
and then they can find
it's like a freebie shoebox, a free guide
353+33 - 355+35
for something I can't quite remember,
but then people and able to opt in.
356+00 - 356+19
And the best part is
356+19 - 359+09
you don't actually technically have to
post and show up on Instagram every day.
359+10 - 362+03
Sometimes I don't even want to
this little girl, I support everything.
362+05 - 363+38
I can't be on there. 20 47. I just kinda
365+10 - 366+07
I feel like sometimes the
366+07 - 369+12
algorithm plays up on Instagram
like it's like I show up every day
369+12 - 371+12
why are my stories
only getting seven views like that?
371+12 - 372+24
And sometimes it's just too much?
372+30 - 373+14
Whereas with Pinterest,
373+14 - 376+06
because it works as a search engine,
the good thing is it builds up over time.
376+07 - 377+36
So one of my clients hasn't posted,
I think
378+21 - 379+18
since 20, 20.
379+18 - 380+02
It's been a couple of years
380+02 - 382+05
since she's posted on Instagram,
but she still gets traffic to a website
382+09 - 383+30
just to have people opting in for her
free training
383+35 - 384+33
because we've leveraged Pinterest.
384+33 - 386+09
Yeah. Wow. Wow. And you know what?
386+11 - 388+33
That whole model of building up content
so that it works
388+33 - 391+22
more in the future for years and years
to come kind of aligns with everything
391+22 - 391+39
we're about here
391+39 - 394+21
at the Solopreneur Hustle,
earning more while working less like work.
394+21 - 396+32
Can we how can we put in work now
so that in the future
396+32 - 398+12
we don't have to work as hard,
you know, like
398+31 - 400+07
what hours can I put in for my business?
400+08 - 402+11
Today so that I don't have to be hustling
forever, you know, like
402+28 - 404+29
on Instagram stories every single day,
day in and day out that can get
405+13 - 405+32
tiresome.
405+32 - 406+22
And that leads to
406+22 - 409+06
a lot of times when we're constantly
like on a hamster wheel in hustle mode.
409+06 - 412+07
And so it kind of sounds like
Pinterest is a solution for some of us.
412+07 - 415+10
Who feel overwhelmed with marketing and
and showing up all the time, every day.
415+11 - 418+06
Can Pinterest can Pinterest kind of
help us step back and not hustle so hard
418+10 - 420+22
but fun and your percent like
420+37 - 422+37
it's changed and evolved
and like sometimes I'm
422+37 - 424+39
even looking at Pinterest sideways
because it does accept as well.
424+39 - 426+34
But like in comparison to Instagram, it's
427+09 - 428+32
I hope they don't see me, but
428+36 - 429+17
I hope they don't.
429+17 - 431+29
It is also so much better because,
for example, one of my clients, we
432+17 - 434+27
created a pin back in 2020
435+10 - 436+28
and this pin one pin alone
436+28 - 438+26
drove 11,000 clicks to her website.
438+33 - 439+16
Oh my gosh.
439+16 - 440+33
And that was just one
kid, just one graphic.
440+33 - 443+05
And still to this day
it gets a couple of clicks each week
443+10 - 444+08
and it's like,
I have not touched that theme
444+08 - 446+19
in almost two years
because it builds up over time.
446+25 - 448+19
Like before on Pinterest,
you could post a graphic
448+26 - 451+04
and then within a couple of days
you've got 5100 clicks.
451+04 - 453+02
Whereas now
because they really like honing
453+02 - 455+36
in on their algorithm and updating it,
it is taking longer for your pins to rank.
455+36 - 456+21
So it does take
457+07 - 457+20
a month
457+20 - 459+18
or so now for you to really start
seeing traction on your pins.
459+26 - 462+29
However, the good thing is once you've
kind of planted that seed of that pin,
462+35 - 464+26
you're going to start
to see the ROI over the long term.
464+26 - 467+15
So like pins that you pinned a month ago
will be helping
467+16 - 468+14
to push people to your website.
468+14 - 470+11
And the good thing about Pinterest
is it's new people.
470+11 - 471+02
I know, like on Instagram
471+02 - 473+31
and all the social networks,
you're kind of limited to your followers
474+01 - 475+26
whereas on Pinterest,
because people are on there searching.
475+37 - 478+38
If someone is searching for, like I said,
website, web design tips, for example,
479+02 - 480+24
and your pin shows up
in the search results,
480+32 - 483+04
you have a higher chance of being found
because people aren't necessarily
483+04 - 484+29
going to go to Instagram
with tip top four Web design tips,
484+29 - 487+12
but they'll go to Pinterest for that
instead Oh, my gosh.
487+12 - 489+26
So I honestly feel like what
you're describing is because you describe
489+26 - 490+29
Pinterest as a search engine.
490+29 - 492+11
And as you know,
I know a lot of entrepreneurs
492+12 - 494+02
are big into SEO
for Google and stuff like that.
494+15 - 496+29
But I was going to say
that as we know, ranking
496+29 - 499+25
on the first page of Google
takes a long time extremely expensive.
499+33 - 502+17
And so if someone is searching for Web
site tips and you're trying to use
502+19 - 505+07
SEO to rank on Google,
it almost sounds like it would be smarter
505+12 - 507+35
to try to bring more interest
because it's probably more cost
507+36 - 510+27
effective to to create pins
and you probably have a greater chance
510+28 - 513+37
on that search engine of someone
finding your website or your services.
513+37 - 516+13
I mean, I've taken
I mean, I I've been working over the years
516+13 - 519+01
at SEO and Google
showing up for podcasts for Solopreneurs.
519+01 - 519+22
You know, now
519+22 - 522+11
after three years, I'm finally starting
to see traffic from Google clicks.
522+11 - 523+17
But, you know, maybe Pinterest
523+17 - 525+04
could have helped me to accomplish
some of those goals a little bit faster.
525+17 - 525+29
Yeah.
525+29 - 526+29
And, you know, I'm not sure
526+29 - 529+02
if the algorithm with the algorithm
updates is might have changed, but
529+21 - 531+01
before when you would search for,
let's say,
531+01 - 532+22
for example and podcasts
532+37 - 534+37
if you have pinned on
your pin has performed well on Pinterest,
534+37 - 537+04
it actually shows up near
the top pages on Google as well.
537+07 - 539+36
So they kind of you're kind of killing
two birds with one stone with your traffic
539+36 - 542+34
as well, I'm sure now because they're like
I said, that always updating things.
542+34 - 545+00
Maybe it's changed,
but before people would kind of get
545+09 - 547+02
Google traffic and then Pinterest traffic
at the same time,
547+02 - 549+02
which was just really,
oh my gosh, that is so brilliant.
549+02 - 551+38
So if someone is listening
and they are like, oh my gosh, this sounds
551+38 - 554+23
like what I want to incorporate
into my marketing strategy today.
554+32 - 556+36
What are the first steps
someone should take to start
557+02 - 557+37
incorporating a Pinterest
557+37 - 560+21
marketing strategy into their overall
marketing strategy for their business?
560+28 - 562+19
Yeah, and the two most important things.
562+20 - 565+12
Number one, I would say
have evergreen content on your website.
565+12 - 568+13
So look, post the podcast episodes
or if you like, recording videos,
568+13 - 570+21
even YouTube videos as well, and then
you can embed them on your website
570+27 - 571+15
and the reason why.
571+15 - 572+24
And before you go,
what is evergreen content?
572+24 - 574+22
I know what it is, but I know there's are
who are like, what is evergreen?
574+22 - 574+38
What does that mean?
574+38 - 576+20
So define that for us
real quick. Yeah, yeah.
576+20 - 579+01
So from my definition of being content
is like content
579+01 - 581+28
that will be searchable
for a long period of time,
581+28 - 583+37
not just like seasonal content
or like trending rules, but it's like
584+11 - 587+12
content that can answer a question
or content that long-Form content
587+12 - 589+11
that can serve your audience
over a period of time.
589+11 - 591+35
So for example,
and let's say you had like a blog post
591+35 - 592+32
that was like a how to guide
592+32 - 595+29
because people are going to search
how to in Google and on search engines.
595+34 - 598+01
And so you want to have long-Form
everything content that can perform for
598+04 - 600+04
months and years to come
that you don't have to keep going back
600+08 - 603+11
and updating or it's something
that's only going to last for like a week
603+11 - 605+10
or two with all these rules
that keep changing and then it's done.
605+12 - 605+28
Yeah. Yeah.
605+28 - 608+01
Like the pirate sounds,
you do a little dance to a viral sound
608+01 - 610+07
and then no one wants to see it anymore
because the people are sick of it.
610+07 - 610+15
Like,
611+19 - 612+22
it's like I've just record this
612+22 - 614+02
now the next one is trending like,
oh, here we go.
614+18 - 614+36
Exactly.
614+36 - 615+02
Yeah.
615+02 - 616+35
But all right, I just wanted to make sure
we all knew your content
616+36 - 617+29
because I know that. Yeah.
617+29 - 618+31
Author who didn't know.
619+14 - 621+10
And so and also, I would like to add
as well with evergreen content.
621+10 - 623+16
It's also something that I also add
it's own
623+25 - 625+14
a domain that you own as well
625+23 - 628+03
because we've content on other platforms.
628+39 - 630+39
If something goes wrong, they can.
630+39 - 634+00
It happened to me earlier, for example,
I included a batched all my rules.
634+19 - 635+39
I'm editing one
and then it suddenly pops up
635+39 - 637+10
with a Oh, your thing has been deleted
638+00 - 639+10
literally. So it's like it's gone.
639+10 - 640+23
I can't get it back. Right.
640+23 - 642+32
If it's on your website,
you have complete access to that.
642+32 - 644+16
You own that content
and it's going to live on your website
644+16 - 647+07
for however long you want it to live there
and see it has ever been content.
647+07 - 649+04
And then also I would suggest
doing keyword research
649+31 - 651+32
because you want to
know what your audience is searching for.
651+32 - 652+30
And this is kind of like a mistake.
652+30 - 655+01
Some people will kind of when they say,
Oh, I'm going to give Pinterest a go,
656+04 - 657+19
they will just put plans up.
657+19 - 659+33
But it's not necessarily what your target
audience is searching for.
660+01 - 661+22
So these easy ways
of doing the easiest way of doing
661+29 - 664+02
research on Pinterest,
if you go on Pinterest in the search bar,
664+11 - 666+20
type up, for example, things
you like solopreneur,
666+27 - 668+16
like entrepreneurship, business tips,
things like that.
668+21 - 669+23
If you were to type in business tips,
669+23 - 672+02
it will come up with like a list
underneath and all of those other things
672+02 - 674+10
that your target audience is searching
for when they search business tips.
674+10 - 676+08
And those are like the keywords
that you can use on the pins in open
676+09 - 677+16
titles, you can descriptions.
677+16 - 679+32
And that way when someone searches
for business tips, you can show up.
680+01 - 682+18
So you have evergreen content
and do keyword research
682+18 - 684+22
because Pinterest also wants fresh content
685+23 - 687+17
so that they can have fresh things, which
is actually where the name came from.
687+18 - 689+21
Fresh synesthesia, because originally
it was something else and that I rebranded
689+21 - 691+05
because I'm like, I like this
because it makes perfect sense.
691+35 - 692+36
Yeah. Ooh,
693+01 - 693+24
okay, cool.
693+24 - 696+29
Those are such good tips, and I think the
keyword research part is super important.
696+30 - 699+20
Obviously an evergreen content
because obviously
699+20 - 701+21
like you were describing
Pinterest is like a search engine.
701+28 - 704+36
So in order for your pins to work,
you have to put tip to pin them with
704+36 - 707+35
keywords that represent what your target
audience really wants to see online.
708+02 - 710+15
Yeah, I guess it's kind of like hash tags
with Instagram.
711+02 - 712+33
Obviously, the algorithm has changed
and they say less hash tags.
712+33 - 714+05
And they you
they used to say max out the hash tags.
714+05 - 716+25
And seeing that they're saying only do ten
hash tags or 12 or something like that.
716+25 - 717+32
I've given up with hashtags.
717+32 - 718+21
Oh my gosh, yeah.
718+21 - 719+04
Hash tag too hard.
719+04 - 721+24
But thinking about Instagram and hash tags
or maybe even hash tags and tik tok,
721+24 - 724+14
this sounds kind of similar
to the idea of keywords on Pinterest.
724+14 - 725+19
Am I correct? Or is it? Yeah.
725+19 - 727+34
And another thing to add
because if your listeners are ready to go
727+34 - 730+33
and try it for themselves, don't list out
a bunch of keywords in Arabic
730+33 - 733+09
as Pinterest will mark you as spam,
and then you end up in Pinterest.
733+12 - 734+23
You don't want that to happen.
734+23 - 736+19
So the best thing to do
with writing descriptions because people
736+37 - 739+01
whenever I audit like an account
and I'll notice people
739+01 - 740+18
sometimes need their pin
descriptions blank,
740+18 - 742+34
and you don't want to do that
because I think you have 500 characters
742+34 - 744+38
in your PIN descriptions and that's like
a lot of real estate for keywords.
745+04 - 747+06
So what you wanna do
is let's say you've decided on,
747+12 - 748+32
you've got a blog post on business tips
749+12 - 751+08
and you've figured out your top
three key words that you're going to use
751+08 - 751+24
for that post.
751+24 - 753+18
You want to use this keywords in sentences
that makes sense.
753+18 - 754+05
So for example, it could be,
754+05 - 756+23
are you looking for business tips to help
you start your own business?
757+03 - 759+14
In this blog post,
I teach you five tips for entrepreneurship
759+14 - 761+30
to help you grow your business
and make money online something like that.
761+33 - 764+09
And those are loads of different keywords
that you can use to Pinterest to pick up
764+09 - 766+19
those keywords by using them in a sentence
that makes sense.
766+19 - 767+28
That way
they'll know, Okay, this isn't spam.
767+28 - 768+35
They're not trying to game the system
768+35 - 771+13
and they won't rest your account because
getting your account back isn't working.
771+24 - 772+08
Right, right.
772+08 - 772+23
Oh my gosh.
772+23 - 773+36
Yeah, I've been in jail
and other social media accounts,
773+36 - 776+07
and it's not fun
when you can't use your account.
776+07 - 777+30
So that that's a really good tip.
777+30 - 780+00
Incorporating the keywords into a sentence
or a quote or phrase
780+05 - 781+23
instead of just like listing them out.
781+23 - 781+39
And I agree.
781+39 - 783+23
I mean, it probably does
look a little bit spammy. I mean,
784+09 - 785+05
I guess Pinterest probably
785+05 - 787+32
wants the platform to be more interactive
with, with quality content, not just.
787+32 - 789+21
Yeah, it's blasting the keywords out.
789+21 - 791+17
Now, one question
that comes to mind for me, so
791+30 - 793+36
Are there any challenges
that people who are new
793+36 - 795+15
to Pinterest may experience, that people
795+15 - 796+27
who are listening to your tips
and they're like, Oh my gosh,
796+27 - 797+29
I'm going to create my Pinterest account
today?
797+29 - 799+21
I'm going to get started with challenges.
799+21 - 800+23
And I know you mentioned
that one challenge
800+23 - 802+25
about not ending up in Pinterest jail,
but are there other just
802+38 - 804+20
general challenges
that people tend Pinterest?
804+33 - 807+18
I think one thing is the longevity of it,
807+18 - 809+15
because it's not like on Instagram
where you post
809+15 - 811+23
and then you get like that's one thing
that's good about Instagram.
811+24 - 812+34
You get the instant gratification.
812+34 - 815+04
But then on the flip side with Pinterest,
you post a pin, but
815+08 - 817+29
it's not going to immediately
your phone blow up and your website
817+29 - 819+33
has all these people on that,
and your email list is growing overnight.
820+03 - 821+33
It is something that does
take time to build up.
821+33 - 823+34
And like I feel sorry when people
sometimes doing Pinterest, they're like,
823+34 - 825+05
they've heard all these good things
and then they get on there.
825+05 - 827+04
Like, I posted a pin, where's my website?
827+23 - 829+27
So like one thing I would say
is don't be discouraged
830+00 - 833+03
even in the first three months
if you're not seeing a lot of traffic.
833+03 - 835+14
And even then
there was someone who I worked with
835+25 - 838+13
and she was getting good results
for three months, but I think she had like
838+37 - 840+26
higher expectations for Pinterest
840+27 - 842+24
and then she was like, you know what,
I can just doesn't help my business.
842+36 - 843+15
That's it.
843+15 - 845+31
And it's like if you just give it
a little while longer, it can work
845+31 - 847+26
like one of my long
time clients, the one who
848+11 - 848+25
hasn't post
848+25 - 850+37
on Instagram, and she still gets website
traffic with her.
850+37 - 852+34
Again, something that you've
had to build up over time.
852+34 - 854+15
But that's why Pinterest works
so well for her.
854+15 - 855+27
It's because you have to be consistent.
855+27 - 857+11
So don't be discouraged
if you or you're ready to get
857+11 - 858+21
when Pinterest
and you don't see results right away.
858+33 - 859+14
They will come.
859+14 - 860+17
You just have to be consistent
860+17 - 862+21
in that consistency
piece is so important for a lot of things.
862+21 - 864+23
I feel like nothing
great comes from doing it.
864+23 - 866+16
Every once in a while,
you really have to put in the work
866+16 - 868+20
and be consistent over time
in order for anything to work.
868+20 - 871+37
And so it's interesting that
that life lesson also applies interest.
872+02 - 873+04
So yeah, thank you for sharing those tips.
873+04 - 874+23
Those words are helpful.
874+23 - 876+33
So something else that come to mind is one
that was that consistency
877+01 - 880+17
and with Pinterest actually
will reward you when you are consistent.
880+17 - 883+01
So you'll order things that you spend
will get bumped up
883+02 - 885+17
because you're continuously adding
new valuable content to their platform.
885+17 - 886+19
So if you want to get on Pinterest, good.
886+19 - 888+36
So be consistent with your strategy
because then it bumps up
888+36 - 890+05
your older pins as well.
890+05 - 890+36
Oh, wow.
890+36 - 893+08
So the more and more you post the
you have more and more content.
893+08 - 895+28
And then all of this content starts
to get more and more yeah.
895+34 - 896+25
Wow. Exactly.
896+25 - 899+00
Because they want quality value
because they dislike investors, like
899+06 - 901+20
they want it to be the happy place
where people can go for like inspiration
901+20 - 902+39
like one thing I love about Pinterest,
they don't have like
903+10 - 905+03
negativity and toxicity.
905+14 - 906+14
No one spilling tea on Pinterest
907+20 - 908+35
even to the point where they like limited,
908+35 - 911+23
I think, weight loss topics
you're not really allowed to talk about.
911+23 - 913+31
Like this specific diet
914+12 - 916+05
because they think it's building
unhealthy habits.
916+05 - 917+26
You can talk about like health
and give like health tips,
917+34 - 919+07
but there's a certain thing
I just slipped my mind,
919+07 - 920+08
not that you're not allowed to do simply
920+08 - 921+28
because they want Pinterest
to be a positive place
921+28 - 923+12
where people get inspired
and make their lives better.
923+25 - 924+14
Wow. And you know what?
924+14 - 926+39
I definitely agree because I feel I'm
really active on Pinterest,
926+39 - 929+03
not posting, but really consuming content.
929+03 - 931+10
I have all your home decor and fashion is.
931+17 - 932+15
Oh, I love it.
932+15 - 935+18
And I feel like mentally
I go there when I need a break.
935+18 - 937+38
Like I go, Yeah, to scroll
mindlessly sometimes,
937+38 - 940+00
but I'm still looking for inspiration
and I feel inspired
940+00 - 942+09
when I'm on Pinterest
to improve things in my life.
942+09 - 942+28
I look very healthy
942+28 - 944+39
and it's all types of stuff,
so I've never thought about it that way.
944+39 - 947+01
But oh my gosh,
Pinterest is no negativity on Pinterest.
947+16 - 948+34
You get banned, right?
948+35 - 949+09
Oh my gosh.
949+09 - 950+28
Even with COVID.
950+28 - 951+33
Oh, should I say it on your podcast?
951+33 - 952+19
It's kind of like, Oh,
953+30 - 954+02
because
954+05 - 956+15
they literally pop up now with bunnies
if you say the C-word.
956+20 - 958+38
But yeah, on Instagram
you mentioned it on your story,
958+38 - 961+33
you see a great box pop up,
which I know watching you.
961+35 - 963+08
Yeah, it's everywhere.
963+14 - 966+05
But yeah, on Pinterest
during at the height of the pandemic.
966+05 - 968+09
And I think even now,
because I was working with a dietitian
968+15 - 971+34
and she had a blog post for how to stay
healthy during the whole situation.
972+03 - 975+26
And I was doing like research
and I noticed they they she had a warning
975+26 - 978+39
and they were like only the governing
body's health officials can post that.
979+03 - 981+26
So if you were posting anything
to do with that, they would take it down
981+26 - 983+21
and you would they would remove you
because they wanted it to be a place
983+21 - 986+02
where people work because it's
it was a difficult situation.
986+02 - 988+15
They wanted only proper information
to be on there
988+20 - 991+20
to stop spam and people
posting all these hacks that don't work.
991+20 - 993+30
So they wanted it to be really streamlined
and screened properly.
994+03 - 996+36
Wow. And I would have never known that
that was happening behind the scenes
996+36 - 999+24
that they're so intentional
about making their app a happy place.
999+24 - 1002+23
But no, I can think of even that value
being related to so many things.
1002+24 - 1005+32
Like like if someone's business,
if there is positivity inspiration,
1005+32 - 1007+10
I mean,
that could be a really nice alignment
1007+17 - 1009+06
that also goes along with someone,
someone's values
1009+06 - 1010+18
and what they know their target
audience is looking for.
1010+18 - 1011+28
So, yeah, so interesting.
1011+28 - 1013+07
I really never knew that they were
1013+07 - 1015+06
about making sure
their platform was so positive.
1015+13 - 1016+33
Now, think gears here a little bit.
1017+00 - 1018+23
I know that you started your business.
1018+23 - 1018+37
You did you
1018+37 - 1020+22
did you say you started
like at the height of the pandemic
1020+22 - 1021+33
when it was kind of kicking off
world? Wow.
1021+33 - 1023+01
I started it in.
1023+01 - 1026+16
So I know about February and because like,
I was always looking at my manager
1026+16 - 1028+15
sideways, like one day this guy is
just going to start firing people.
1028+15 - 1031+14
So I was literally stashing away
all my paychecks just in case.
1031+15 - 1033+38
I'm very fortunate that I my parents,
I live at home like I'm living at home
1033+38 - 1036+03
till I'm married because, yeah,
these house prices were expensive.
1036+03 - 1036+38
Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Here.
1036+38 - 1038+31
It's crazy right now to shoot girl.
1039+00 - 1040+00
I know.
1040+00 - 1040+28
That's a whole nother story.
1040+28 - 1041+26
I have so many friends who were like, oh,
1041+26 - 1043+39
my gosh, now is a terrible time
to buy a house, a terrible time to rent.
1044+05 - 1045+09
Everything is just so expensive right now.
1045+09 - 1046+28
We're I'm in the U.S.
Where are you at in the world?
1046+38 - 1048+34
I'm in Surrey. In the UK.
1049+00 - 1050+05
Okay, so I sound like the Chris
1050+33 - 1051+13
Bosh.
1051+13 - 1052+16
Yes. It
1052+25 - 1053+39
it's so bad, honestly.
1053+39 - 1057+01
And yeah, so I was like stashing all of
my money away because I'm like this guy.
1057+12 - 1058+10
I just don't trust the way he's moving.
1058+10 - 1059+36
I feel like he's
going to start firing people.
1059+36 - 1062+33
And so I'd had, like, a good life
savings saved aside.
1062+33 - 1064+10
And so I kind of took
like a couple of months
1064+17 - 1065+27
to figure out what I was going to do.
1065+27 - 1067+30
And then I kind of started putting things
together when I got the idea
1067+30 - 1068+27
and I started pitching.
1068+27 - 1071+13
I want to say the end of May, around
May time, something like that.
1071+18 - 1073+36
And then I ended up signing
like my first official client in June
1074+02 - 1076+05
was funny enough, she was a podcast of
I'd been listening to for years.
1076+05 - 1078+14
Like even when I was that much of the
I did it like, like, it's so crazy.
1078+24 - 1079+12
That is so cool.
1079+12 - 1081+01
Because my question was going to be,
how did you start
1081+01 - 1083+03
to put yourself out there
and attract your first client?
1083+03 - 1085+24
I know there are a lot of solopreneurs
listening or who may discover
1085+24 - 1088+03
this episode in the future
who are just looking for resources
1088+03 - 1090+29
online about how to start their business
or how to get their first client.
1090+29 - 1092+22
You know, that can be really challenging
when you're new and you're like,
1092+23 - 1093+24
Oh my gosh, I just want one client.
1093+24 - 1096+16
So how did you attract your first client
and how did you start
1096+16 - 1097+01
putting yourself out there?
1097+32 - 1099+04
So I definitely like done
1099+06 - 1101+05
a lot of cold outreach in the beginning,
and I think that's probably
1101+05 - 1103+02
one of the only good things
that came from that horrible
1103+02 - 1105+00
nine to five is
we would have to do cold outreach.
1105+08 - 1107+35
And so that kind of took me to
like organize like my needs and the people
1107+35 - 1109+00
that I wanted to reach out to.
1109+00 - 1110+18
And I just had to send a lot of emails.
1110+25 - 1113+04
And if you try this method, it does
take time and you will get a lot of noise.
1113+29 - 1115+18
But some people are actually interested
because, you know,
1115+19 - 1116+21
I've never thought of that before.
1116+21 - 1117+35
They want to know more
about how it can help them.
1117+35 - 1119+20
So I did outreach also.
1119+20 - 1121+38
I think I got clients
in Facebook groups as well.
1122+24 - 1124+15
With Facebook groups, there's
a lot of competition because as soon as
1124+15 - 1127+01
someone post that, there's like 50 people
also trying to get it as well.
1127+20 - 1128+39
And then after that
1128+39 - 1130+36
I kind of started building up
like traction on like social media.
1130+36 - 1132+31
Like a lot of people found me
through like Instagram
1132+31 - 1135+10
and just other areas on line
and referrals as well.
1135+10 - 1137+26
Like if you've once you've got one
client, it's good to always ask them
1137+34 - 1140+17
if you know anyone else
that's looking for a virtual assistant
1140+17 - 1142+09
or web design or whatever
is that you specialize in
1142+15 - 1144+20
because sometimes people actually
are like five months.
1144+20 - 1146+36
And one of my clients,
in fact a couple and last year
1146+36 - 1150+02
and even this year has said, Hi, I'm
my colleague, or they've worked with
1150+03 - 1150+20
they've got a coach
1150+20 - 1152+33
and they say, oh, that interested to I'm
going to post your details on.
1153+03 - 1154+33
And sometimes you're
not always a good fit, but it does help
1154+39 - 1157+08
if you just ask people
if they know anyone that needs referrals.
1157+24 - 1158+02
Oh, and you know,
1158+02 - 1160+12
I think that's such a powerful tip
because a lot of times when you're new,
1160+12 - 1162+37
you're kind of hesitant
about asking for what you want or,
1163+03 - 1165+12
or pitching yourself to a cold audience.
1165+12 - 1168+38
But yeah, I love what you said about
sometimes people genuinely are interested.
1168+38 - 1171+10
They are looking
for exactly what you offer but how will
1171+10 - 1173+15
you know that if you don't just ask
if you don't just reach out?
1173+21 - 1175+03
And cold outreach is hard.
But I loved that.
1175+03 - 1177+03
That was all you learned
when you were working a nine to five
1177+03 - 1179+38
and you were able to translate that
into skills that you needed in business.
1179+38 - 1181+35
So and that gets me
thinking about the fact
1181+35 - 1184+09
that sometimes when we hate our job
and we want to do more is an answer.
1184+09 - 1185+11
We think we want to start
when in the future we're like,
1185+11 - 1186+20
Oh my gosh, this is such a waste of time.
1186+20 - 1188+16
But at times on your job,
you're learning things
1188+16 - 1190+30
that will grow faster once you do so.
1190+37 - 1193+01
And so I love that
you are using skills in your business.
1193+01 - 1194+13
Now you're on the job.
1194+13 - 1196+01
Yeah, I like people. Pitching is
1196+27 - 1197+00
don't be.
1197+00 - 1198+24
If you are going to try it,
don't be discouraged.
1198+24 - 1199+21
Will take it personally.
1199+21 - 1200+26
If you get like
1200+37 - 1203+06
a not so delicate response back.
1203+06 - 1204+39
Sometimes some people,
I think they just don't respond
1204+39 - 1207+06
well to people reaching out to you
1208+00 - 1210+00
but at the same time, I think
if you structured your email in a way
1210+00 - 1213+03
that it comes from a genuine place
of serving, people will pick up on that.
1213+03 - 1215+20
My longest client that I've had,
it was through called Outreach.
1215+20 - 1217+26
And I remember when I sent her the email,
she responded really quickly.
1217+27 - 1218+07
She was like, You know what?
1218+07 - 1220+36
I've had so many emails over the years
and uses the only one that I've responded
1220+36 - 1222+39
to because you've really shown
the value of what's in it for me,
1223+06 - 1225+03
as in like for her and how I can help her.
1225+03 - 1225+30
So if you look at it
1225+30 - 1228+24
from a place of service and not just there
another number because I know, okay,
1228+26 - 1231+20
when you were reaching out, obviously
numbers do matter, but don't look at them
1231+20 - 1233+24
from a place of just, hey,
this is what's wrong with your website.
1233+24 - 1235+02
If you're a web designer, for example,
you need to change this
1235+03 - 1236+01
and that, it's not going to go down well.
1236+01 - 1238+06
But if you reach out for the places
I would love
1238+06 - 1239+39
to help you, here's the value
that I can help to grow your business.
1240+07 - 1241+18
Then people tend to respond well to that.
1241+30 - 1244+33
Oh, and that even can take away
that mindset, can even take away
1244+33 - 1246+13
some of the anxiety
about reaching out in general
1246+13 - 1247+25
because you know in your heart
1247+25 - 1248+37
that you're reaching out
because you want to help people,
1249+02 - 1251+14
not because it's about
I mean, this amount of money, then
1251+24 - 1255+08
that makes you even feel less sleazy
or weird about reaching out.
1255+10 - 1258+07
Because sometimes when you're reaching out
and doing cold outreach
1258+07 - 1259+15
as an entrepreneur
and I've been there as well,
1259+15 - 1261+26
I feel uncomfortable about even doing it
cause I'm like, Oh, am I bothering them?
1261+26 - 1262+37
Do they think I'm like, you know?
1262+37 - 1265+27
Yeah, sometimes with cold outreach
people just it gets a bad rap.
1265+27 - 1268+06
And if you make it about, you know what,
I'm not reaching out to them
1268+06 - 1270+09
to be annoying I'm reaching out to them
because I genuinely want to help them.
1270+09 - 1271+19
I know I can improve their business.
1271+19 - 1272+23
I know I can help them get results.
1272+23 - 1274+34
Then now all of a sudden,
I don't have to have anxiety
1275+16 - 1277+10
or feel like there's
some sort of halo of judgment around me.
1277+12 - 1278+35
Yeah, because this is about them.
1278+35 - 1279+22
This is not about me.
1279+22 - 1281+35
So that even I just feel like that
takes pressure off 100%.
1281+35 - 1282+06
Yeah.
1282+06 - 1283+16
Because like, I even still kind of
1283+35 - 1285+19
I haven't done,
like, outreach for a while, but
1285+19 - 1286+30
when I was like getting started
1286+30 - 1289+22
and also when I worked with a business
coach because she would set, like my goals
1289+22 - 1290+38
while I was working with her
and she was like, okay, maybe
1291+03 - 1291+34
how did you get your first few?
1291+34 - 1293+10
And that's something
I should pick back up on.
1293+10 - 1295+38
And and I remember I sent an email before
and the person didn't receive it well.
1296+24 - 1298+04
She was like, Oh, I think it's like you're
trying to tell me
1298+04 - 1300+10
what's best for my business
by outreaching to her.
1300+21 - 1302+39
And I just have to even then, like,
you internalize it and you think,
1302+39 - 1304+37
Oh my gosh, I'm never going
to send another email again, but
1305+16 - 1307+37
you have to look at it as a place from
some people won't receive it well,
1308+08 - 1310+00
and you can't take it to heart
1310+10 - 1312+29
and be encouraged and know that, okay,
you have something valuable
1312+29 - 1315+35
to offer and share, and the right people
will see that because if someone responds
1315+35 - 1318+16
in a salty way, would you really want
to work with someone like that anyway?
1318+24 - 1320+20
No, I wouldn't look at that in a ways.
1320+20 - 1323+20
They've shown you their cards
and how they are in from the get go.
1323+20 - 1325+36
You know, so I would look at it like that
was, well, don't take it to heart.
1325+36 - 1328+18
And also I think the right people
that you meant to work with, things
1328+18 - 1329+10
will align as well.
1329+35 - 1331+06
That is such a word because we do things
1331+10 - 1333+35
we feel like I just saw a post
a few weeks ago on Facebook
1333+35 - 1334+31
and it was just saying how,
1334+31 - 1336+34
you know, a lot of times as entrepreneurs
we get so upset when we start a business
1336+34 - 1339+27
and our close friends and family
don't support us, but it's just how it is.
1339+27 - 1340+30
Like sometimes the people
1340+30 - 1341+21
you expect to support you
1341+21 - 1343+17
while you'll send an email to someone
and that is not your client.
1343+17 - 1345+28
And you can tell people that
that they are, you know, kind of salty.
1345+35 - 1346+14
Yeah, right.
1346+14 - 1347+32
That's not a client
you want to work with anyways.
1347+37 - 1348+24
Now that I think about it.
1348+24 - 1351+15
So I love that you share that
because I think so many of us
1351+15 - 1353+21
take it personally
when you kind of shoot us down and
1353+36 - 1356+07
I like to think of it
as every time you get to know,
1356+07 - 1358+03
that's, that's also getting
you closer to a yes. Yes,
1358+32 - 1359+21
I know that.
1359+21 - 1359+29
Okay.
1359+29 - 1361+36
I I outreach,
I send out email outreaches often
1361+36 - 1364+19
and last time
it took me 20 no's to get one. Yes.
1364+24 - 1365+27
So I did.
1365+27 - 1366+34
Yeah. So next when we get that.
1366+34 - 1368+34
Yes, you're like, Okay, now I got to go
to your nose to get another. Yes.
1368+39 - 1369+18
Yeah.
1369+18 - 1371+05
Variation even I know every,
1372+01 - 1373+07
every client is a good client.
1373+07 - 1374+18
Like I have client
1374+30 - 1375+35
leads, I should say, people
1375+35 - 1378+05
that have approached me,
they filled in my booking form.
1378+05 - 1378+34
I did an outreach.
1378+34 - 1381+04
Then you came to me
looking for a Pinterest virtual assistant.
1381+12 - 1385+03
I get on call with them
and you send your invoice and the contract
1385+06 - 1387+35
and I can see and upside that
they posted it and they just go to you.
1388+01 - 1389+06
That's also going to happen as well.
1389+06 - 1390+25
You are going to get people that you say
they want to work with.
1390+25 - 1391+39
You to this day,
I don't know where they go.
1392+11 - 1393+20
Oh, my gosh. They just
1394+28 - 1395+20
you're going to get that as well.
1395+20 - 1396+24
Again, don't take it to heart.
1396+24 - 1398+30
Maybe look at it as something that maybe
something came up or they realized,
1398+30 - 1401+11
you know, now's not the right time
for them to invest with you.
1402+00 - 1403+18
It's nothing to do with you
1403+18 - 1405+18
as a person
or even your business for that matter.
1405+18 - 1407+20
It was something going on
with them, right?
1407+35 - 1408+14
So you should never, ever,
1408+14 - 1410+26
like internalize it because you are going
to get trolls as well online.
1410+32 - 1412+11
You're going to get people ghosting you.
1412+11 - 1413+29
You're going to get even bad reviews.
1414+03 - 1415+19
I'm on edge for that one to come.
1415+19 - 1418+08
I'm not looking forward to it,
but I know it's all part of your business.
1418+08 - 1420+09
It's all part of the journey
of entrepreneurship.
1420+20 - 1422+33
I'm definitely one of those hard pills
to swallow and things like that,
1423+04 - 1426+01
but it is definitely just a part of
what it is to run a business
1426+28 - 1427+07
for somebody else.
1427+07 - 1429+18
You don't see those negative reviews,
and also you don't take it as personally
1429+18 - 1431+34
because it's not your business,
but it's your business and it's
1431+34 - 1433+34
a reflection of you and it's your baby
and you're so passionate about it.
1433+34 - 1436+17
Then it feels like it
just it hurts sometimes,
1436+37 - 1438+16
too shared that we have it personally
1438+16 - 1440+18
because business is business and day.
1440+19 - 1442+13
I mean, there will get good reviews
and we'll get bad reviews,
1442+13 - 1444+04
but yeah, yeah, yeah.
1444+13 - 1447+07
And even then with bad reviews, obviously
if someone's being literally unkind,
1447+18 - 1447+38
that's different.
1447+38 - 1450+18
But sometimes if someone said
if they've given you maybe three stars
1450+18 - 1452+11
or four stars
or whatever in your feedback, form,
1452+23 - 1454+01
maybe look at it as a place of, Okay,
you know what?
1454+01 - 1455+23
Maybe they didn't
enjoy this part of my process.
1455+23 - 1458+03
Now I can tweak it and make it better
for the next person as well.
1458+09 - 1460+21
But I think it's difficult because
like you said, your business is your baby.
1460+21 - 1461+32
It's your identity almost.
1461+35 - 1464+34
I know you should internalize
and put yourself together but it's like
1465+13 - 1466+36
if I don't show up and open my laptop
1466+36 - 1468+37
and work,
no one else is going to because it's mine.
1469+02 - 1472+11
And so when negativity is on it,
you attach it to you
1472+11 - 1473+26
because it's your business.
1473+26 - 1474+25
But try not to.
1474+25 - 1475+16
Oh gosh, yes.
1475+16 - 1477+28
That was such a good reminder
because I experience that as well.
1477+28 - 1478+12
So thank you.
1478+12 - 1480+01
Now, as we move into
1480+01 - 1481+21
wrapping it up today,
this conversation has been so good.
1482+01 - 1482+36
I don't want it to be over.
1482+36 - 1486+05
But can you share any resources
you think can help solopreneurs
1486+05 - 1488+14
improve their businesses, increase
their productivity?
1488+15 - 1491+02
Are there any resources
you offer that you think can be helpful?
1491+02 - 1493+32
And just in general,
what can we do to support you?
1494+08 - 1496+16
Is there anything is do you do you offer
anything that you think can help you?
1496+31 - 1498+01
Just kind of a little bit about that.
1498+01 - 1498+11
Yeah.
1498+11 - 1500+23
So I do have like
I launched, of course, earlier this year
1501+12 - 1502+21
was something I was wanting to do.
1502+21 - 1504+09
But again, imposter syndrome like stuff.
1504+23 - 1507+01
I need to put it in a cupboard somewhere
and close the door because I told people
1507+19 - 1510+17
on Instagram the other day, imposter
syndrome just kept me small for so long.
1510+24 - 1511+17
Yeah.
1511+21 - 1513+19
But you know, I look at it
as also this is something really valuable.
1513+19 - 1514+15
And I was talking about this
the other day.
1514+15 - 1517+01
Even if you don't need to be ten steps
ahead of your ideal client,
1517+01 - 1518+17
even if you're two steps ahead of them,
1518+20 - 1520+06
that's still two steps
more than where they're at.
1520+06 - 1521+26
And you can help them
make those two steps.
1521+32 - 1524+24
So even if yeah, it's my first course,
but hey, it can help people.
1524+27 - 1526+31
And even then, like when like my students
in there because it's like a small group
1526+31 - 1529+27
at the moment when they like post things,
you never know how valuable
1530+12 - 1532+33
people find you until you hear from them.
1532+33 - 1534+01
Like literally one of the students inside
1534+01 - 1535+18
the course is like,
I'm going to share this with my email.
1535+24 - 1537+25
Like I didn't ask us to do that,
but she just found it.
1537+25 - 1539+02
So valuable
and stuff like that makes me tear up.
1539+12 - 1540+21
But yeah, so I've got
1540+38 - 1543+00
and I've got like a free training as well
and it just kind of walks in
1543+05 - 1544+37
if you're like a visual person, walks
you through,
1544+37 - 1547+08
like how you can use Pinterest
to generate more website traffic
1547+14 - 1549+26
and get email signups
and how it kind of all works together.
1549+26 - 1550+25
So you can kind of get an overview
1550+25 - 1551+36
if you're thinking about using it
for your business.
1552+03 - 1552+21
Oh, okay.
1552+21 - 1553+36
And where can we find that you you can.
1553+36 - 1555+11
I can put it down below if that helps.
Yeah.
1555+17 - 1558+32
Yeah, they think if they want that you are
I was just fresh in studio dot com slash
1558+32 - 1560+22
free and I can send the link to you
as well for the training.
1560+30 - 1561+13
Okay, perfect.
1561+13 - 1563+11
I will put that down below the and
1563+12 - 1565+16
how can we connect with you online
after this episode is over?
1565+16 - 1567+32
Are there any specific things
we can do to support you and to,
1567+36 - 1570+37
to uplift you and your business
so you know, like how can we find you?
1570+37 - 1572+12
How can we connect,
how can we support you?
1572+12 - 1574+18
I'm on Instagram freshman studio.
1574+25 - 1576+32
I also like interest, of course, and know
1576+34 - 1579+09
I don't even have Tik Tok at the moment
because I know I'm out of control.
1579+18 - 1580+27
I'm already spending too much time with it
1581+15 - 1582+07
in my free time.
1582+07 - 1582+17
But yeah.
1582+17 - 1584+35
Instagram at freshman studio and Pinterest
at Pushkin Studios well, because I
1584+35 - 1587+20
share a lot of like all my blog posts,
they go on there and that way
1587+20 - 1590+03
if you're looking for like more in-depth
blog posts like tips that can help you
